1962 Chevy Corvair Utility Truck Final Stages

Bo Randall of Randalls Auto Body and Towing is in the final stages of completing the restoration of Minor's 1962 Chevy Corvair utility truck. As you can see this has been a long process due to the condition of the truck when we received and started the restoration process. These restoration projects take time because this truck is over 50 years old and you have no idea what has been done to it in the past. The truck is by no means perfect but we do know that Mr. Minor is really proud of it and when it is complete he will be driving around the Gold Canyon and Apache Junction area very proud in his restored 1962 Chevy Corvair. Johhny Insalaco the Mayor of Apache Junction did all the upholstery inside the seat, the carpeting, headliner, door panels. The interior looks great. The Chevy Corvair will be delivered to the owner this week for him to do all the finish work putting the windows in, mirrors, wheels, door handles, radio etc. When it is 100% complete Minor will bring it back to our shop for any touch up that will need to be done and we will take final photos for posting.

1962 Pontiac GTO Complete Restoration

The restoration has begun on the 1962 Pontiac GTO that Bo Randall of Randalls Auto Body and Towing is doing a complete restoration of. Of course these resto's are not easy because there are over 40 years of age and wear and tear on this classic car. It has been a lifelong dream of the owner to finally get his GTO completely restored. The owner has owned this car since 1983 and has been garaged since. This will be a long process to get it to where it will be ready for a new paint job. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures that will be posted along the restoration process.

Towman 500 Awards

Last Month Bo and Donna Randall went to the Towing Convention in Las Vegas Nevada. Bo Randall of Randalls Auto Body and Towing was awarded the Towman 500 award. He was presented the Towman 500 buckle as being one of the most experienced towers nationally. During the luncheon he also received from his son Shad Randall RM of Service King in Las Vegas Nevada a torpedo that has been in the business since 1967 and was originally used as a address sign for their first business in 1967 in Miami Az. Shad Randall completely restored it even creating a working boom to resemble an actual working tow truck. Then our daughter in law managed to get Gary from Kounts Customs in Las Vegas to hand paint all the lettering and the original cartoon tow truck created by Shad Randall that was on all their fleet of trucks years ago. Bo Randall had no idea and was elated to have received this from his son in memory of Tex Randall Bo's dad who passed away in the year 2000. Bo Randall has made a lifelong commitment to carry on his dads legacy and keep the towing business and collision repair business going. Thank you Shad and Stephanie Randall for making such great memories in honor of your grandfather Tex Randall and your dad Bo Randall. So this years Towing convention in Las Vegas was a huge success and will never be forgotten. Bo Randall receiving the Towman 500 award was an honor considering this is a nationally ranked award! Way to go Bo Randall of Randalls Auto Body and Towing!
